This beautifully bred Selle Francais stallion brings top French bloodlines to KingRidge. In addition, he is proving his bloodlines with excellent performances in the ring.
His sire, Quidam de Revel (by Jalisco B) was a member of France's 1992 Olympic bronze medal team and was individual 4th with Herve Godignon.
At the prestigious 2001 Aachen International horse show, Quidam had two offspring competing, Oliver Metodo, an eight-year-old stallion ridden by Alvana Miranda Neto of Brazil and El Capcicho Furla du Village, also eight-years old, ridden by Martin Dopazo of Argentina. Other highly successful Quidam sons include El Campeon's Cirka Z, ridden to 12th place at the 2001 World Cup Final, as well as several grand prix victories by Nicole Shanian Simpson of the U.S.A., Nabab de Reve, ridden on Belgium's victorious Nation's Cup team at Aachen by Philipe Le Jeune, and Gandini Bianca d'Amaury ridden in speed derby classes with great success by World Champion Rodrigo Pessoa.
Jamestown is a well-mannered individual who brings this successful bloodline to Canada for the first time. He is one of only two Quidam de Revel stallions available for breeding in North America. Since his arrival at KingRidge in early 2001, he has sired several foals through embryo transfer. The first of his offspring debut in the show ring in 2006.
Jamestown is approved for breeding with Canadian Sport Horse and Selle Francais. He is also licensed by Canadian Warmblood.
Breeding to Jamestown is available through frozen semen at a cost of $1,500, which includes a Live Foal Guarantee.
